A Quick Update On What We're Doing
We're actually doing things!
Over at Autistic Substance Use Network we’re spreading our wings ready to take flight, and move into the future beyond the publishing of our research.
If you haven’t checked out our research yet, remember these are the citations for the two papers:
Papadopoulos, C., Adkin, T., Munday, K., & Gray-Hammond, D. (2025). Predictors of Depression and Anxiety Among Self-Medicating Autistic Adults. Neurodiversity, 3, 27546330251344453.
Munday, K., Papadopoulos, C., Adkin, T., & Gray-Hammond, D. (2025). Improving Substance-Use Services for Autistic Adults: Insights and Recommendations from Autistic Adults. Autism in Adulthood.
Beyond this, we are working on a project to provide resources on substance use for another autism organisation, and reaching out actively to the professional and academic world to get involved in more project.
If you are interested in working with us, you can do so by contacting us at the details on our website.
Don’t forget, you can become a paying member of ASUN and support our work, there are options for both individual and professional membership, more paying members will help keep the lights on and help us build on the work we are doing.
